unlockables?

Can you unlock skins by beating single player?  in the one server online. i saw some person
using some sort of a spider skin, and someone else using a skeletel skin too.

There is nothing to unlock, sorry
You can already use the models you talk about in the model selection screen.
I may be wrong but the spider's model name should be Arachna, and the other Skelebot.
It should show up, otherwise bring up the console and type (for expl) :
