What fonts should we use? Do you know of any good fonts that use a GPL-compatible license?

Bitstream Vera Sans is the only one I know of and currently is being used. At least it matches pretty well with the game Smiley

just for info:

I have found the following font
http://linuxlibertine.sourceforge.net/

it uses the GPL as a license and is a complete font for several languages

It's a serif font though. IMO Serif fonts don't necessarily look good in "modern and beyond" fps games (as in the setting, serif fonts do fit well with historic and fantasy games though)
