OK, so I've noticed that's there's very little an end-user can do about getting those pesky 3rd party bots to work in OA. Is there anything I can do to prevent the notifications flooding the console whenever I play a match? I think I may be one of the few people actually entertained by the abuse the bots chat whenever I play by myself.

You'll have to re-write the third party bot.  Use the default_*.c files from the  botfiles directory and copy over the values.
