ok, used to be playing on the Dell 22' widescreen, but now I want to one up it.  I have my machine running, video out going to a matrox triple head 2 go connecting to 3 of those dell 22' widescreens.   Also, the box is running linux (Fedora Cool, and it's sweet....

The default resolution right now is 3840x1024 and now I want to play q3 on it!  If I execute the ioquake.i386 I just get a black screen, don't really have any config moved over, so I am assuming it's trying full screen.  I tried a simple;
r_custom height/witdth and r_mode -1, but same results.

So what's a guy to do?

Thanks all....

That sounds neat. I've never tried a multi-head setup. I'd kill for something like that.

A few questions.  Are you launching OA from the console? If so , are there any error messages? Have you ever successfully run OA under Fedora?

I'm running Debian and getting DRI to cooperate can sometimes be a PITA.

Yep, was that simple.   Things are a bit distorted, so I am reading on changes such as the fov which may help, there are a bunch of tweaks, and not sure if I will be able to really play, but it does look pretty sick ....
