This map as you can obviously tell from the name is a remake of one of my favorite space maps from quake 3, q3tourney6. Since there are only a couple of q3 remakes for Open Arena, i decided to make one myself. I kept the map pretty much the same as the original, except that it is slightly larger, and the single teleporter has been replaced with a jump pad. All other weapon and item placements remain true to the original. Don't forget to shoot the giant floating red button Wink! Also be sure to try my map out on the test server I've set up!

This map is released under the GPLv2, so feel free to use it however you wish Smiley

Edit:Added CTF version of the map, which now has a red and blue side, plus an added shotgun

That is cool, you even got the landing strip!

Now it's time to do the CTF version. Tongue

Im glad you guys like it! And i thought about making a ctf version, it just seemed like it was too easy to get between the bases and wouldn't be much fun...
I'll be out of town the next few days, but when i get back, I'll go ahead and make a ctf version Smiley
Also im working on my next remake, q3dm19ish, that should be finished when ever i get some free time Wink

Just added the CTF version of the map which now has red and blue team sides, plus a shotgun at each base, and a quad damaged instead of mega health!

I was going to ask you if you can add the missionpack entities to your map. Last friday, ISTR, I was at the q3dm6ish test server with some guy/gal from Iowa, map was fun. ^^

Anyway, effort is what count, so I will thank you for the map. ^^

I've uploaded tourney6ish-ctf (it was the only map I could rescue) to my hosting (again, thanks to onykage)
You can download the map from here.
