I am having difficulty saving the settings which I have selected for the video options. When i select 'very high quality' it doesnt seem to keep the settings when i press escape. Does anyone have any suggestions. I am a complete linux newb.

AMD Dual Core 4400+
7800 GT
Nforce 4 Chipset
2GB Cheap Ram
WD 36GB 10000RPM

There should be an "Accept" button that you need to press. It appears in the lower right corner after you have made a change.

Hey thanks man! I appreciate it. I couldnt see the button because of my native resolution. BUT, with a little bit of pressing the down arrow until i heard clicks on an invisible button, IT WORKED!

I remeber it's a old non-resolved bug in the Q3 engine. IoQuake3 too.
