By the way, which file format have i to use for animations?
Animations to textures are generally done through the shader file. Textures used by the engine require a shader file too, so it can determine certain aspects & characteristics.
I don't deal a lot with textures so I cant help you greatly with shader files, I do however recommend Googling it, or possibly someone with more knowledge in that area will direct you to good tutorials.
