The rash of spam has led me to believe that OA shouldn't have been ported to Windows, because it doesn't seem like the linux users are having the same spammy problems windows users are Smiley
I also dont think OA should have a message board, too easy to troll ( like what I'm doing right now ) Smiley
But if OA does need a forum maybe a community policy should be in place like this one http://www.ubuntu.com/community/conduct because the Ubuntu Forums are much much better(less trollie) than this one.
Last but not least, shouldn't bugs/requests go to ioquake3 instead of here ?

asking when OA3 will be done won't get OA3 done.

OA shouldn't have been ported to Windows

About 90% of all computers are running some version of windows! Smiley

Including mine. Ignoring Windows users would almost certainly kill the project.

crusades tend to fail, best way is divide-and-conquer-from-inside

you're right, lets pull the windows releases, replace all cutscenes with 'stop software patents'/'don't buy from ati'/'switch others from windows to linux', and refuse win32/ban win32 users for helping eachother to compile for win32. we'll be just as successful as gcompris

The thing why people don't help windows users so much is because linux is opensource and you can find problems much easier. In case of windows is hard to find problems and even harder to fix them. I don't blame user, i blame OS-es, yes OS-es not only windows, because for now there is no OS which everyone could use or which is good for everything.
