Hey, I'm new here.

My friend is over and we are trying to play on our LAN, but whenever either of us try to join each other's server, the game just sits at "awaiting challenge." Are there some ports we could forward on our router that would allow us to join the server/ or some other solution?

We are using a Linksys router, and any help would be greatly appreciated. My friend is leaving in a few days and we would like to get some CTF action before he goes.

Hi,

Make sure you're using the binaries at http://download.tuxfamily.org/openarena/rel/080/oa080-serverfix.zip.  The server won't work otherwise.
