LIST UPDATED This is a good training for OA adicts. Thanks ChaoticSoldier.
One more thing, keep an eye on my demos and realized that Im not rocket intensive. Maybe this is the trick.
See you soon, hope you break my records soon. xnonix
Thank you, xnonix. I'm glad you enjoy this. I tried using the rocket launcher less on some maps and found my times improved a fair bit. Perhaps you have discovered something significant. I will keep practicing. I was able to get 4:21 on OA_DM1 on the second attempt, but there is still room for improvement. This weekend will give me a chance to attempt some more records.

- Everyone must face the same 3 bots: Angelyss, Sergei and Skelebot
- All bots must be at level 2 (Bring It On)
- You must provide a demo as proof of your achievement. Screenshots won't cut it.
You can start a game using these parameters: openarena +map wrackdm17 +addbot Sergei 2 +addbot Angelyss 2 +addbot Skelebot 2 +set fraglimit 50 +set cl_autoRecordDemo 1 +set bot_nochat 1

TIMES UPDATED I have OA_DM1 back again, with 3:55 until xnonix posts the 3:39 demo Also, I got 4:59 on CE1M7. It's not very fast. I think I wasted too much time running around.

the fan one is pretty good I think. For those trying to beat it, quad+plasma jump can get the mega. slimfac isnt all that great, but whatever. fan(3:27) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2lcvXf64skslimfac(6:03) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sf9kZrFsIcg

UPDATED My first attempt for OA_DM4 = 4:58. It's alright, but I think spending more time on the lower level should yield more frags. I've tried hard to beat 3:39 on OA_DM1, but I'm not having much luck yet. On my closest attempt I had 48 frags in 3:36, but it took 20 seconds to get the last 2 All my other attempts have been way off. Gerbil, I agree your fan time is very good.

LIST UPDATED I removed the no camping rule too. Was this a good idea? Should I bring it back? Also, when the bot AI files are redone someday, this competition will have to end because of the changes in bot behaviour compared to today's bots. @ Rajoy: Set the bot skill level to "Bring it on". You will see when you press TAB to view the scores, the bots will have green smiley faces next to them. @ xnonix: 3 of your records now are 3:08

I removed the no camping rule too. Was this a good idea? Should I bring it back? Also, when the bot AI files are redone someday, this competition will have to end because of the changes in bot behaviour compared to today's bots. Well, could be good. In maps like wrackdm17 you can dominate the map from the red armor. If you move too much you are losing your time without a real benefit. This map is about aiming, and not running. So someone can consider this to camp, but you are dominating the map from that spot and not losing time running. Also in maps like ce1m7 you can control the 2 corridors from two spots. But one of then have a respawn point, so I used the other, near the jumpin platform. I discovered it by luck but is the best you can do in that level for not dieing too much and fast killing. Someone can consider this camping, but, what you can do? going running around the level looking for enemies? or just spamming rockets everywhere? I consider camping another thing only made by noobs that dont know what they are doing. xnonix
