When I play on Linux (ubuntu 8.10) and switch the resolution to 1280x800, mouse stops moving at all Sad
On all lower resolutions everything is OK, and on Windows mouse works on all resolutions...
I'm (almost) sure it's not a hardware problem - I have C2D 2.0GHz, GF Go 7600 and the mouse is a standard laptop usb mouse.
Has anyone an idea how to get my mouse working?

Disable compiz. It helped me with that.

Code:
metacity --replace

To re-enable it, after you've exit from the game:

Code:
compiz --replace

"Detailed" is nice, but if it gets in the way of clarity, it ceases being a nice addition and becomes a problem. - TVT

ok, it works, BUT every executing of this command makes the window manager crash, so I have to reboot the computer (or at least restart X) :/ Maybe do you know a *safer* method to temporarily turn off Compiz?
