My Logitech G7 freezes randomly in Ubuntu Linux, not in windows when playing OA, it becomes very choppy at times and sometimes I spin real fast and the mouse skips frames.  In windows 7 I dont have an issue but im not a fan of running windows.  Any ideas on how to fix this in Ubuntu linux?  is there usb polling issues or a command I can try?
Thanks

note: this happens at random times, I play at dpi 2000 , here are my mouse settings:
Code:
// Mouse binds and cfg
in_mouse 1 // was -1

m_pitch -0.016
m_smooth 1

//m_yaw 0.016

m_filter 0

sensitivity 2.5

cl_mouseaccel 0.2 //0.2

bind mouse1 +attack

bind mouse2 +moveup
seta cl_showmouserate "0" // display current mouse rate (in hz I believe)
// Zoom Toggle
bind MOUSE3 vstr zoomtog
set zoomtog "vstr zoomon"

set zoomon "+zoom; set zoomtog vstr zoomoff"

set zoomoff "-zoom; set zoomtog vstr zoomon"

set z0 "set cg_zoomfov 110; set zoomin vstr z1; set zoomout vstr z0"

set z1 "set cg_zoomfov 50; set zoomin vstr z2; set zoomout vstr z0"

set z2 "set cg_zoomfov 20; set zoomin vstr z3; set zoomout vstr z1"

set z3 "set cg_zoomfov 10; set zoomin vstr z3; set zoomout vstr z2"

vstr z1; vstr zoomoff

Does this happen in other fps like Nexuiz or Sauerbraten?

I use windows and my windows mouse acceleration is set the same in the game (even with the disable acceleration setting on), it doesnt happen with q3.

I've alse noticed cl_pitchspeed changes to strange values like 1000 and 7000, i guess this maybe related to accel. When I set it to default or lower settings nothing happens. It isnt that much distracting though, and i can still use in_mouse -1

There is the same bug in Ubuntu with a Razer Krait mouse. The looking behaviour of the mouse becomes sometimes strange. I can confirm the bug exists under Ubuntu, not on Windows (XP or Vista).

I hope this will be fixed in the next version, because users could loose a game. Sad
