Could I theoretically use nexuiz maps and models in OA, or vice versa? Because I saw someone on nexuiz using the Dark model on an improved version of OASAGO2.

Nexuiz uses the DarkPlaces engine, which can handle Quake3 maps and models, so you can use OA stuff in Nexuiz. The other way is only possible if the Nexuiz stuff you would use is Quake3 compatible. Both projects are full GPL, but fromhell already said, that (s)he doesn't  want to use models from them...
