What is the programming language that was used to make openarena? Cobol, C, B?

What is the programming language that was used to make openarena? Cobol, C, B?

The engine was coded in (almost) ANSI C by Id Software. Openarena uses the GPLed version called ioquake3. It can be compiled under different OSes (Win32 , Linux, NetBSD, Mac, etc.). However, the engine is only a small part of Openarena. Most of the new stuff  is not software but artwork (textures, MD3 models, maps, etc.).
