People tend to go to those servers where there's already someone playing... So, the rest of the servers stay empty :/ There's definitely not enough players to fill ~70 OA servers that are presently online...

Yes and then it's like 4 full servers, 10 servers with one player each and 50 totally empty servers...
If you come too late to get a place in a "good" server, you're doomed for the evening.

fromhell should change openarena so that it doens't show number of players active in the server Cheesy then everything will even out!

I believe OA shouldn't have 70 servers since they CAN'T be full. 15 good servers are much better than 70 average to bad (it's not like i'm criticizing them), and that 15 servers can cover all what OA has (maybe not some types like harvester). Few CTF, few TDM, few FFA, maybe 2-3 instagib servers, and 2-3 custom (like custom maps and types) is enough. If they are good balanced (i mean on their locations, N. America, Europe, Asia, etc.) that would be quite full and playable servers. Nobody needs empty servers. How popularity of OA would grow, new servers would open.
