nice! but the greenish color of the mechanics and the blue fish glass don't seem like a good combination

Looks awesome...though the fish reminds me of that old rainbow fish thing that I always read (and despised) in kindergarten XD. I'll have fun using this model in OA.
It kind of reminds me of one of the ginormic, huge-antic models in Code Red: Alien Arena. I think it was the War model...

The hands seem overly large. And they'll need a good chiropractor before they hit middle age...

Texture WIP! suggestions? Interested in making a version of the textures? Send a private me
Looks good! Maybe we could make a yellow and green fish for different skins of the fish like we have differing colors of other models. Also, it would be pretty badass to have a small shark in the bowl too. Just some ideas if you have some time.

For Team skins, I have thus thought something… http://temp.grafosyakuza.com/fishshot005.jpgAside from the 3 basic versions, the rest I hope that somebody is interested in painting them…

Misfit model 3D is free and multiplatform, but he is not friendly to animate… When it has the animation finished in Fragmotion ( single cost 20$), already import in MM3D 1.3.1.

To get back to 'random character concepts' Here is my own submission. 'Grunt'(I know there's already a grunt, but that's just a reskinned gargoyal: Front: Back:

Interesting. I'd love to see this in OA.
I could never ever draw mechs in my life. I do have a few sketches I could share for possible character concepts, but nothing like this...

Thing is this was created for a game concept I've had for close to a year now and have only, through linux gaming tome, just now found a place(here) that has most of what I need already.
Now if only I could get a few of the true combat type mods to gpl their source code. Afterwards has most of what i need, but its incompatible with OA's licensing. However that is neither here nor there I suppose and would be better under a mod thread/subforum.

You can't possibly GPL code based on the original Quake3 code SDK.

Right then, moving on.
Lets review. We have Fish(really uber groovy), we have somebody working on the hunter esque lady, and we have a merman. Anything else in the works?

I like! Thing is, is there any way to make the human arm look graphted on, or the tentical arm look like some sort of deseased growth? Something to help explain why this guy has mismatching limbs.
