Here is a poll to decide once and for all if RoOst3r is a cheater or not. It may not be the best solution, but is a way better solution than picking at each other(that is, everybody picking at Falkland).

This is no solution at all.
Public opinion != truth.
Anonymous polls cannot be trusted (anyone can vote any way, on a whim).

Well, that is how the world works. If you got a better idea, then please do share it.

Are there non-anonymous polls?

well if 90% of all the people who visit boards do not believe that Rooster is a cheater, then that obviously is saying something.

The only question then left is: does that say something about the forum members or about Rooster?

Anyway, I don't think he cheats.

it says a lot about the OA community.  Sad

the few people that are left waste their time by bashing their heads in.

I enjoyed roosters vid. It was entertaining and made me lol at times.

I've enjoyed his vid too. And I don't think he's a cheater.

You forgot the "I don't give a smeg" option.

And, moreover, one flamwar-topic is enough at the same time.

Where did these accusations come from?
What do you have to support it?

If you don't give a smeg then do not vote, do not post.

These accusations came from Falkland at the http://openarena.ws/board/index.php?topic=2959.0;topicseen topic. I did not accuse anyone of anything. I simply made a poll so everyone can vote their opinion.

The popular opinion (according to the poll so far) is that Ro0st3r is not a cheater.

Good players get accused of cheating constantly. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that 99% of cheat accusations are just stupid no0bs or sore losers not able to believe that people can be as good at they are.
It gets old, and expect to be harassed for even bringing it up.

I believe this poll is pointless.
Not because its not gonna help, but... 'cause Falkland have proved he's got some serious mental problems.

I can remember he called 'cheater' to some other players too.  i.e (since I remember)

Gerbil
Hitman
ME
Odigo
Chiquita
Jessicara (when she didnt use her colorbot)
and so on....

I think trying to make him to understand he IS wrong is an EPIC FAIL already... That wont happen, he will keep pointing good players, calling them cheaters for no reason but his reasons (mental issues).

But anyways... We all know this and Falky will come with a nice annoying reply.

btw: OA forums are not the only forums being 'entertained' by him. Several posts insinuating some players cheat have been created on RN forums as well, as far as I know... You can check them out... Only God knows how far Falkland took this.

Well, it may be. But the poll is up and I'll let it play out. After that I won't try to do anything else.

If you don't give a smeg then do not vote, do not post.

The point is, one flamewar topic seems to be enough.
And voting about makes no sense here, you cannot determine whether he is or is not a cheater by voting. Voting is good for taking decisions (shold Rooster be banned from this forum?, Will the Communist party be in the parliament?), not determining the true/false value of an already given fact (Is Rooster a chater? Is pi=5,97888?)

Very well. The poll has been closed and I've reset the count. I have a feeling some will be unhappy about this. As far as all this cheating stuff goes, I think we should all drop it. It may have been a mistake to do the poll in the first place, and it was my mistake.
