this page:

(DO NOT LINK) h t t p s : / / openarena . wikia . com/wiki/LinuxInstall

says:  Download the three deb packages from Here.

But `Here` is no longer there!

My problem is that I'm trying to get OA working under 64 bit Ubuntu 9.10.  I tried the one you get when you intall from the `ubuntu software centre` but, although it installs and runs, it crashed my PC when I tried to leave a game (I had to hit the reset button on my PC - it was completely frozen).

I was hoping to install it from where I installed it from last time.

Can anyone help me? And is there something funky I have to do to get it working on 64 bit Linux? Is there even a special 64 bit version of OA?

ps: then you get the single zip file from this site, there's no way of following the instructions on the link I provided in my earlier post, because it refers to 3 separate files, not a single zip file.  Perhaps there should be a number of installation help pages depending on where you've downloaded it?

ok, well, I guess it's installed, although I still have a problem.  Details of the problem are here:
