Ok, I'm totally new at this, but I saw there were a few nude character textures in the svn and wanted to know how I would go about using them. Do I have to rename them and then compile, or what? Please give me easy to follow instructions because I haven't done anything like this before.

[edit]And exactly what do I do to compile/use the files in the svn? I'm totally starting out here.[/edit] (did I do that right?)

1. Checkout ONLY the packs/uncut directory tree on the SVN. don't checkout the entire svn! it's absolutely unneccessary, and will waste bandwidth!
2. Checkout ONE batch script build-optional-packs.bat and one zip.exe from the root of the tree
3. Execute the batch file

you should have a bunch of pk3s, one of them being the sassy version

Am I right in thinking the buildoppk3nix.sh script is the linux/unix equivalient of the bat file?
How do you create the pk3 files on a linux-based os?

you should just be able to sh the .bat with no problem, though i do not test this myself since I build on windows

what do you mean by Checkout??? i right clicked and went save target as on the uncut folder and i get a htm file???

pwnage, due to the very "in development" nature of OA project, I fear some parts of the game may remain obscure to you Tongue
If you want to learn computer science, have an eye there: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_Subversion ; you'll learn about what checkouts are. (they are just gathering a whole directory structure, their files, from a repository).

If these nude textures don't come with OA, I may make a .pk3 from it and host it. It's more player friendly, adult players aren't necessarily geeks.

To install just place the pk3 file in your baseoa folder.

There is a problem though, most of the female models (an expl is Angelyss, see picture) have 3d clothes on with their own separate textures sooooo... they would be naked but only under their skimpy slings.

I dont know if that helps or even makes sense  Tongue
