My server now works

but only when my lan or wireless connection runs through IP 10.1.1.6

for example
at 10am server computers lan is at 10.1.1.8 and wireless is at 10.1.1.5
at 3pm server has got the lan on 10.1.1.3 and wireless on 10.1.1.6
at 8pm server has got the lan on 10.1.1.8 and wireless at 10.1.1.7

they change a few times each day randomly
I try restarting internet and the IP stays the same
I shut the lid and reopen and the IP stays the same
I unplug and repug lan cable the IP stays the same

I have only set the port to go through port 27960 on the router port 10.1.1.6
so when it is on another connection the ports closed

I have tried setting the router to let the same ports through but they dont save the settings
My 10.1.1.6 is a Static IP
where all others are Dynamic IP
There my be a way to change the Dynamic ip to a static IP but it looks like it can't be undone

Id rather find away to always connect through 10.1.1.6 but i am unsure how to do this..
Im using a Windows XP laptop

It also isn't showing on the master list maby fixing the master list problem will fix both problems im not realy sure

Any help would be great, Cheers

On the router, bind your MAC address to your working IP (10.1.1.6), so you will always get this IP, no matter who is connected on your network.
