so basically i want to make a mod that drastically changes oa- now i love oa just the way it is but i wanna experiment a bit with the interface and the actual game. is there anyplace where i can find tutorials on modding or some help or something? im not very experienced in coding or anything but im really interested in working on this mod.

When you will have learned how to create mods and got some skill, you may come back and help us to put some more gametype variants directly in the main game: we have very few game logic programmers around here!
