These are two separated, but related (in many ways) ideas, which could be added aside of the normal SP.

The new Mortal Kombat game has a "Test Your Luck" mode, where there's a slot machine with four slots. The first one shows who's the kombatant, while the other three are match modifiers, such as headless kombat, armless kombat, frost shield, no X-Ray, no Super bar, no Breaker, no Enhanced, no block, extra damage taking, extra damage output, magnetic floor, etc. Here's a video of it. How this could be implemented in OA? The 4 slots may be kept, but the kombatant slot would be replaced by a map slot, the second slot would be the gametype, and the other two will have modifiers such as:

- TDM: Player alone vs. 4+ Nightmare bots
- TDM: Novice vs. Nightmare (with the player on the Novice side Tongue)
- All Weapons
- Rockets only
- Instagib
- Regeneration
- Vampire
- Elimination-like match (rounds, all weapons, full health, full shield)
- Melee combat (Gauntlet only)
- Handicap
- No armor/powerups/health/ammo
- etc.

The maplist can be generated from the .arena files.

Having talked about the "Test your luck" feature, now to the UC2-like Challenges. These challenges are a list of different... well... challenges, which comprises things like:

- Turning an adverse score (0-10 in FFA or 0-1 in CTF, for example) in 2 minutes. (Tie-scores count as defeat.)
- Reaching a goalscore before X minutes.
- Weak & fast vs. Strong & slow (with the player being in the second team; a feature like that, Species-statistics, can be implemented somewhat in OA, if this doesn't break mod compat)
- Player alone vs. 8 Nightmare bots (for example, scoring 3 flags in CTF or scoring just a point in DD)
- Matches with Regeneration, Vampire or Elimination rules activated.
- etc.

What do you think of these?

"Detailed" is nice, but if it gets in the way of clarity, it ceases being a nice addition and becomes a problem. - TVT

I think it would an interesting aspect to the add to the game and provide a kind of new mode to play around with it would be interesting to see it implemented.
