I don't go to any of them

I wanted to do an AJAX chat here but the installation of SMF addons in a secure environment isn't easy.

Besides, IRC is an distracting attention grabbing high risk black hole

As in somewhere on every page? Or another page with the chat?
I don't think I'd use that anymore as I use the forums. IRC is something people have a client for, often already running for some channels when the computer boots. Adding an openarena channel is easily done.
