In the past ive been attempting to keep track of my own logs with player vs player combat and we failed in the process of making Openarena save console data or server data such as *WHO FRAGGED WHO* messages or defence awards

anybody know how to make windows and openarena save logs?

WITHOUT USING YOUR OWN SERVER

***i know its possible***

There is a command that allows to save your console output to a text file, but I suppose it is mostly intended for troubleshooting (I think it lists everything, not only "who fragged who" messages).

Anyway, at the moment I don't remember it...

is it /condump textfile.txt

or /condump <nameoftextfile>.txt

just try it out, man  Tongue

Code:
/condump x
creates a file named "x" with the console log in it. you can name it anyway you like and also use any extension you like. it will still be a textfile, but if it floats your boat you could call it x.log or xXx.ini or x.notatxtfileomghahahahaha

have fun with all the wonderful creative possibilities offerd by this amazing command
