- You'll have to have a program that can open and save TGA or JPG, such as Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop or GIMP. Blender can also work for skinning
- A skin is defined by 3 .skin files and an icon_.tga file. The icon MUST BE A TGA for it to be found at all.
- Each .skin file contains paths to the texture files your skin will use accompanying with the surface name.
- The server must have your skin PK3 file if you want others to see it.  This is generally the same case for the previous Quake games

I believed use Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro was against the OA philosophy.

Hi @ all  Smiley,

a big thanks for helping me, now i know what you say me.

I can only use Gimp, cause i am only using Linux.

I have a little dedicated 2 openarena server for gaming, there in
is somebody. He has a funny skin mod, he has changed the head's
of the normal skins. The model liz has the head from the model sarge.
That skin mod is nice and interessting and looking very cool  Cheesy.
That is what i really seen last evening, i have found this skin mod funny  Cheesy.
But i really don't know how he done this, i am sure his skin is really not on my server Huh

i will try this, but i hope someone can say me what is to do make this skin mod with changed head's.

best regards

Did you read those pages I linked?
"/headmodel <modelname/skinname>" and "team_headmodel <modelname/skinname>" (examples: "/headmodel skelebot" or "/headmodel skelebot/red") make the game associate a different[1] head to your user profile. It does affect your own player. There are distinct commands for team-based modes or not. Skinname is optional.

[1] Different than the model set for the rest of the body (with /model <modelname/skinname>) and /team_model <modelname/skinname>).
