hi,

i'm in the process of making a subversion build of gtkradiant. the gtkradiant code is here...

https://zerowing.idsoftware.com/svn/radiant/GtkRadiant/trunk/

...and the game packs are here...

https://zerowing.idsoftware.com/svn/radiant.gamepacks/

the following gamepacks already exist...

DarkPlacesPack/
Doom3Pack/
ETPack/
HalfLifePack/
Her2Pack/
JAPack/
JK2Pack/
NexuizPack/
PreyPack/
Q1Pack/
Q2Pack/
Q3Pack/
Q3Rad_Manual/
Q4Pack/
RavenPack/
STVEFPack/
Sof2Pack/
TremulousPack/
UFOAIPack/
WarsowPack/
WolfPack/
gtk2-win32/

...but no openarena gamepack. since most mapping for openarena is done with gtkradiant might it be worth getting the openarena gamepack on the gtkradiant subversion repository?

interestingly the subversion build of gtkradiant seems to have a different folder setup when it comes to the games you map for.

the old version would have lots of game related folders like oa.game, q1,game, q2.game, q3.game etc... and then in the games folder there would be files like oa.game etc.

the new version doesn't have any of the old q3.game type folders. instead, everything is in the gamepack which is in the games directory. i downloaded the quake3 gamepack with...

svn checkout https://zerowing.idsoftware.com/svn/radiant.gamepacks/Q3Pack/trunk/ Q3Pack

... and had a look at it. i'm not really sure how to change it for openarena. anyone done it yet?

[edit] Also it might be better for us to fork Radiant and Distribute a Radiant-lite ala xreal to avoid the inevitable disappearing of gtkr.

thanks for the links dmn_clown, but the subversion build of gtkradiant seems to have a very different system to the one being discussed in those links. folders like q3.game don't exist anymore and everything seems to be organized into a single gamepack in the games directory.

No, the latest rev of gtr uses exactly the system that is discussed in those links.
