Hey guys.

I recently installed Ubuntu to try it out and found Open Arena when looking for some games and decided to install. I installed OA through Add/Remove Programs and selecting it from the Universe. After installation, I clicked to open it through the Games menu and then my screen turns black-ish like its going to load, then it apparently crashes back to my desktop.  Earlier, I had tried installing it through downloading the package from the terminal and installing it through the terminal.  I read that I may need linopenal0a and I even installed that through the terminal.  It still crashes after I click to run it so I'm desperately looking for solutions from anyone. Anything will help, many thanks in advance.

Open a terminal and type openarena.

Please post the error message that appears.
