Title: How to set the proper texture paths for .md3s?
Post by: whitewolf on September 27, 2008, 06:18:22 AM
I've been messing around with blender, figured out how the bones system works etc. The .md3 export script is working fine, but the textures are being assigned to completely the wrong path, so the model is untextured in game. Can someone please explain how to set the model up in blender so that the .md3 looks for the textures in the right path? Keep in mind I'm a blender noob ;)

If you're using the right md3 exporter plugin (AND YOU SHOULD), you would be prompted to enter in a path to where the texture would be, i.e. models/weapons2/machinegun/. The material name IIRC would be the name of the texture like skin or supersuperstuff etc

Hmm ok, where can I find the right one?

EDIT: Sorry I found it in the sticky.
