Title: Trying to help a friend out
Post by: satanisonthis on July 20, 2014, 12:46:05 AM
So we just downloaded this game and I can play it with others fine. Whenever he tries to open the multiplayer, it turns his internet off. Any ideas?

It's something about the router. I once had the very same problem but after replacing it by our old router (and after a while a newer one) everything worked just fine again.

Are firmware updates available, for the modem/router of your friend?

Apparently he duplicated his reply. I suppose he didn't meant to delete the whole topic, only his duplicated post.

If you are both behind the same firewall it might be shutting it down on the duplicate port..depending on it's behavior.
