Title: The yodeling stone in overskillctf
Post by: cheb on November 25, 2019, 08:50:42 PM
Did anyone else find that fun place?
One of the stones in the central abyss lets you land on it.
When using jumppad, move to the right into the void and crouch to fit in the wall gap.
Then inch carefully to the left until you can stand up.
Then you can jump repeatedly making beautiful yodeling sounds :-X because with each jump you repeat your "falling into abyss" yell.
Isn't that cool?  :P

What's that map? Do you have a link?

Uh, it appears rarely in ctf F: for stupid. It's a map made for Q3, I think, with much verticality, abysses and a nice skybox of foggy and cloudy mountains. In OA, some textures are missing.

...oh, wait. overSkill  :-[

Yeah! This one.
The yodeling stone is in the central pit, on the edge of the orange fog.

I haven't been able to get there by using the jumppads, but I managed to get there by jumping down from the nearest jumppad platform.  :)

This is a good reminder for mappers, that it's important to use common/clip!
