I would like to challange any good ctf player to come play in duel on our BEAST ictf clan server.

note: Enable auto-downloading in setup/game options so you can download the instaunlagged mod to be able to play on the server.

maybe you should fix that, even with a 300 ping I can give you a nice match..!!!

I have autodownloading enabled, but the download seems to prefer to timeout instead of completing. It appeared to complete one time, but then I got the infamous 'invalid folder' screen that everyone loves... :-(

That means this is a 0.6.0 server, so people with the latest versions of OA (0.7.0 and 0.7.1) won't be able to access it.

Nop, its a 0.7 server, but just for low pings..

The 'invalid folder' error has nothing to do with that.

There is not an "error folder" the server is running in 0.7 version, but just for low pings!!
I know because I use both 0.6 and 0.7, and using 0.6 version there is an "error folder" and with 0.7 version as I said!! "SERVER IS FOR LOW PINGS ONLY"

Uuuh, ok. You know, you're not the only one who has experienced both errors :P
The invalid folder error shows up when one side has 0.6.0 and the other has 0.7.0. The high ping is NOT an error message. You know which servers allow only low-ping connections if their ping number shows up in blue in the master server list.

I know, lol.. 

hmm anyway i can possibly fix this??? someone plz help me. Oh and it would be much appreciated if anyone can give me a a/w deathmatch config to run on my other server

first.: how did u create your server..?
did u use a .cfg and a .bat file??
if you did a .cfg file please show us, so we can fix any error..

And if you try to connect to a server with mod you don't have.

Forget, it's another error.

If you enable autodownload (at your own risk), the game will get the mod and automagically get it working just prior to the match.

We've seen that with clients using 0.7 client-side and server using 0.7.1 serverside.

The mod shouldnt be the problem as i posted before turn on autodownload before joining server. As far as low pings go i set Max ping to 600. So if you have under 600 ping your able to join server now =). Soon Team BRUTAL will have around 3 servers just as long as i find some a/w configs.

CTF is an abbreviation for Capture The Flag and the purpose of the game is by team-based effort capture the enemies flag, and retrieve it to your own base. Individual frags (kills) score points, but capturing the flag is what wins the game.

CTF is also the best game mode there is :P
