Great Game!

Just started playing this game yesterday, and I have to say it is very fun! I haven't played Quake (or any Quake like game) for awhile so I still kind of suck a bit, but I'm getting better.

I play on a

iBook G4
1.33ghz
512mb DDR SDRAM
Ati Mobility 9200

I'm also glad it supports Mac, thanks to whoever ported it (I forgot his name).

It may not be the best Mac to play on, I can't activate those fancy features like Bloom, but Gameplay>Graphics anyway.

I would like to thank the developers, i agree it is a great game.  I am a longtime quake 1, 2, 3 player and think Open Arena is the #1 Free Game available on the internet.  By the 1.0 release of Open Arena i am certain it will be a better game than the original quake 3 ever was.  A lot of thanks to the fine folks at ioquake3 for their excellent code base for quality game to be built on.

  I think the one thing that would set Open Arena on fire is the addition of an  automatic updater / content management system to add maps, models, and mods - all from within the game.  I cannot program, so i would be no help adding these features.  They are just idea's.


     My hats off to the development team, you guys do good work.
