I'm not sure exactly what's happened. A couple of weeks have passed since I last played Open Arena, everything was working perfectly back then. But I jump on today to find that most of the sounds are muted. The odd shot, commentary or pickup seems to make it through my speakers, but most sounds never come to fruition. I don't get any errors in the console. It's like the buffer is overloaded or something. Is there a common fix for this?
Cheers,
Isra

I would suggest a re-install.

Tho without knowing more hardware details & what O/S your running it's difficult to say.

Do you get the sound problem with other games or is it just OpenArena?

Also make sure you have OpenAL support, openal is used to deal with sound in OA.
