The 3dfx Voodoo Banshee doesn't look too bad...... framerate is quite playable too, around 10fps (in 1280x960x16) to 30-60fps (640x480x16)

Then again back in the day 3dfx cards where the shit so its of no surprise to me that it can run something based of the Quake 3 engine.

Yeah, I actually had a Voodoo Banshee in the late 90s. With a P3 450 mhz and 128 MB of RAM Q3 ran fairly well.
After running that way for a year or so, I eventually got a Voodoo5 5500, that was killer at Q3 Wink
Then after that a QF3, at which point frame rate simply wasn't an issue anymore.

Not near as ugly as trying it on the matrox 32 meg agp card with slapped together gl drivers. Why a decent P4 2.66 had that installed is beyond me upped it to a 6800gt low end but alot nicer
