the first model done for it was actually a low-poly recreation of Angelyss/Dark since I thought she would be appropriately fitting the Demoness class from the expansion. She's a bit more risque though, as her t-back is completely eradicated. WIP.

i've sort of animated her (standing, running and firing frames for the first weapon are done). this is her as of right now, slightly different but still rather racy attire

i'm also playing with the palette. she looks less banded with the new palette, and new colormap that doesn't have overbrights in there.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of how those Morrigan-head-wing things are looking.  Either they need more polys to give them better shape, or a tweak to the shape, or replaced with something else.  Not sure which of the above would be best.

The rest is looking good, though.  I hope you're keeping that grey skin tone, since it looks pretty cool, like she's a statue brought to life.  I take it the red and yellow are the color-change patches?

Yep, if they can work. I think the player color settings are in a different lump too!

I'm not even sure if i'm keeping the 'almost naked' look, but she is a succubus after all (and is intended to provoke temptation) so hrm. This slingshot swimsuit is only temporary as I suck at concepting actual armor.

I prefer the new palette look over the gray look because the gray one doesn't fade in a colormap well.

I think the player color settings are in a different lump too!
gfx/player.lmp

There are three big mapping tables in there, one for Cleric, one for Necromancer
and one for every other class.

Each big mapping table has 14 palette-remap tables, presumably one for each
user-choosable "color".

There is logic in there for separate top/bottom colors, so that means you
need to be careful which color ranges the model skin uses.

I tried to make her more unholy looking
I also am trying to let her skin color be changable as well. It's working good

(and yes there is nudity on the skin atm since it's still incomplete, based off a dressup skin here)

I grew bored out of the current supercliched design, so for the sake of consistency, Eriance kindly drew this concept


There was also some thought into the weapon design

1 - just shooting little fireball from left hand
2 - an organic undead-lookingish 'pet' that wraps around the arm and spits acid
3 - a glowy firey orb of some sort that sits on the right hand
4 - a hellish brown staff with an evil horned skull on it

oh and before you ask "nipples!!! evil" remember that Hexen II had nudity on the medusa monster and some statues. We just have it elsewhere, on an intentionally seductive player class instead. This decision may or may not change in the future. This doesn't mean this project is an "X-rated" project though. Not at all.

I like all those weapon concepts.  Especially the acid-spitting pet thing, I love that one.

New concept is nice, I like the added bits of armor and all.  Especially agree with adding wings on her back, since she does get that glide power as I recall.  Is her bosom going to be busting out like that in-game though, or will the bra thing cover it over more? Tongue

- breasts aren't big enough to match the concept

- Too low poly for consistency
- Too low textures for consistency
- It's distinctively anime styled
- OA's own succubus is angelyss/dark

I optimized her a bit and improved her skin.

- Breastplate polys are gone, it is painted on the skin instead (uv space gains for making visible weapons!)
- Abs totally repainted
- Much more faithful to the concept art now

dammit, i'm done with her.
Among the changes are proportional stuff and she's just censored now (no more nipples out of nowhere)


bigger legs also and she is rigged! Unanimated htough.
I haven't even decided on her official colors, so she still remains recolorable on demand in game
