Hi Im New in the forum and in game

I want to play open arena but only apear a full screen later to 1 second disapear the window and i dont know how fix this problem My operative sistem is LINUX UBUNTU 8.0.4 i try to unistall and reinstall the game but this is usless

please help me and sory for my bad english i am from mexico thankyou so munch

Can you tell us what it says when you run it in a Terminal?

Are you able to run other 3d programs or games?

I have the same problem on my g3 ibook when I leave applications running. Only have 384mb of ram and it gets eaten up really fast, leaving none for OA to run.
