As such, I have opened an image gallery forum to share good screenshots. Eventually the new site design will link from this forum like a news page with a 'comment' link and so like news articles, so I don't have to do some dirty direct image linking.
I've downloaded the SVN build of OA, so I'll take some screens and post them there.

Is there any problem if I use the latest OAX (and binaries) instead of 0.8.1/SVN OA?

That's possible. Problem is, I don't compile binaries.

Also FYI this is where I have been doing the weekly updates.
http://www.moddb.com/games/openarena/news

i'm almost tempted to swap the oa site for e107 cms, because i'm having fun with e107 over here.

Love the updates on ModDB but shouldn't they also go on the main site!? e107 cms is a graveyard for dead content. These things should be liberated perhaps of left to stagnate on the internet.

That said I'm disappointed that a release did not happen before the Karmic freeze.

Yeah well had I released anything right now it wouldn't be so drastically different. Karmic could at least could get a 0.8.x bugfix patch. Maybe we need to pull one together now.

I forgot the last two weekly updates since I thought I posted them already... :/

asking when OA3 will be done won't get OA3 done.
Progress of OA3 currently occurs behind closed doors alone

I do not provide technical support either.
