anyone knows why 3dstudiomax en quake/gtkr don't work together?

i had this problem before, quake/gtkr/oa are running like a pane in the ass when max is open.

anyone knows if there is a way to fix this problem? what is causing this?

Depending on your system, I wouldn't suggest running multiple OpenGL programs at the same time.  I had a horrible time trying to run any FPS (OA, Nexuiz, Tremulous) with Beryl (OpenGL window manager) running

3dsmax is a memory hogger no doubt. Tried running it together with Max in software mode? (I'm not sure if it even has THAT anymore)

i tried this thing yesterday using dual screens
it works fine when max is running on the first screen, and oa en gtkr on the other
problem solved Smiley It were small files thought, wonder what it 'll do with bigger stuff
it won't be the memory issue i guess.
