That kind of error usually appears when drivers for OpenGL aren't installed for your graphics card...least where I seem to recognize it. I did notice that the console said that OpenGL was installed, so it might be a problem with your driver. You could try using software rendering (use the command line +set r_allowSoftwareGL 1 +set r_mode 0 +set r_lodbias 4 +set r_textureMode GL_NEAREST_MIPMAP_NEAREST +set r_picmip 2 +set r_vertexLight 1), though it's going to require a really high-end processor for that...otherwise it's going to lag as heck.

And just in case, you might want to check if your video card driver is up to date, and if it isn't, upgrade your drivers so they are. That may solve the problem...though I don't guarantee it.
