As soon as I launch OA, the mouse cursor goes to the bottom right corner of the screen and won't come out...When i move the mouse in any direction, the cursor just goes right back to the bottom corner, like it's being pulled by the gravitational force of a black hole.

Which OS are you using? Linux, windows? That sounds as a problem Ubuntu had with Compiz...

If you have windows vista, i have the same problem at my grandma's house (the cursor only gets out of the corner when you move really fast).
I think it is caused by different settings for DPI to make everything larger. I can't say for sure but that is the only difference between that laptop and a normal winVista PC.
