Back in the days of Quake 3, I recorded some female sounds that I never got around to using.

They're nothing particularly amazing, but perhaps they could be of use to add some variation to OpenArena. They are already in the correct format, since I was planning to use them for custom Quake 3 models.

If you guys would like to have these sounds, I can put them up for download. I'm not entirely sure how to go about this GPLv2 thing though... do I just include a license file along with the download, or is there more to it? I'm not sure how one would include a "source" for these, since they were just made as raw WAV files, basically.

Yep! "COPYING" is usually the file

Nice! These sounds seems to be well-made and clean.

Thanks! This'll help clear out some of the monotony of recopying/pitching the old major voice takes for the other characters

and I forgot to mention my feedback

I like set 2 but the sobbing on one death sound could get repetitive

Glad you like them!  Cheesy

I'll see if I can get a replacement for that one sound. Smiley

EDIT: going through some of my spare takes, I didn't find any other sound that would work well as a death sound. I mainly have a few more pain sounds, but they were definitely too short for a death when I tested it. Sorry about that! ^_^'

If the sobbing is really annoying, it might be better to replace it with death3 from set 1.
