Isn't it a bit too late for that? I can disable my server permanently if you wish.
The pack still can be redistributed and used (CC BY-NC-ND license allows free distribution, it does not allow modification and commercial use), and we can re-release all maps in OACMP volume 2, with different textures (although the maps will look very differently I assume).
To clarify: maps that are using non-GPL textures are oacmpctf1 and oacmpdm5.

(It's 0.5.1 all over again... -.-)

I'm considering two options: remove oacmpctf1 and oacmpdm5 or retexturize them. Both cases would save the rest of the package.

What really irkes me the most about this whole situation is that we had a WHOLE GODDAMN YEAR developing the pack, and THAT could have been reported BEFORE the release of the pack. But no, it was reported AFTER it was released.

And then we, the OA/OACMP devs are the bad guys... Roll Eyes

No one yet said that we are the bad guys (unless Fromhell PM-ed you a seppuku knife). Furthermore, I think GPL compliance is really important only for us - players and server admins generally do not care about license, as long as it's free to download.

I wasn't talking specifically about the OACMP team, but there were people (nowadays in chatrooms, previously in other forums) who said that the OA devs give a big FY to the community.

Jan's CTF map is saved. There were few textures to replace.
Now all that remains is Jan's DM map, which is by far the worse in the textures missing department.

WAIT A MINUTE ONCE AGAIN!!!
I've just seen the pic of oajgdm1. Those textures are ACTUALLY OA modified textures! Perhaps the name was misguiding? I have to check that HD texture pack to see if there's a similitude. If there isn't, then nothing is bad with the pack!

Oh! Oh!
I have good news for everyone... THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS!
Here's the comparison table, texture by texture =)

In order, also there are two textures which weren't present in the original xcsv pack.

So, basically, there's no problem with the pack at all! It was all a false alarm!

(Though for the next pack, we should avoid known names at all costs...)

EDIT: Wait a minute once again. -.- there IS something wrong, one of those textures slipped the radar and somehow ended up in the pack. Well, the good thing is that a quick replacement can be done and the map can still be included.
