If you just started playing OA, STOP!

OpenArena is super awesome and highly addictive!

Stop now, close your OpenArena-Client, close the webbrowser and uninstall it, shutdown your computer and burn it in the woods!

Absolutely!

I only played it once and it took over my life.  Now I run countless Open Arena servers.

What can I do?

Yes, it's cool, awesome and addictive... during a time. After, it slowly become boring...

When it happened to me (when it became boring), I wanted to make OA maps but I abandonned this idea shortly after because it was too difficult for me.

Now, I play sometimes OA but less actively than before.

Agreed, OA can be addictive.

Best way to enjoy the game is to play with moderation.   Grin

It was addictive. But when players known to me stopped playing, I also started getting bored. And after all that politics between clans....omg ..
