I've checked in OGA and pdsounds and there isn't any GPLv2-compatible lightning/electric/electricity sounds. FTR, public domain sounds are still GPLv2-compliant.

Does anyone know about a GPLv2-compliant lightning/electric/electricity sound?

I'm asking this because some audio replacements (tim_elect for example, which is a lightning bolt) require to be electric.

I thought pop fizzing noises make great electricity fizzle standins.  I'm already doing some fizzing use for the lightning gun hit noise.

A lightning strike on the under hand will never be caputred clearly. It will always be distorted. While there ARE thunderstorm sounds in Pdsounds,  OA's lightning gun firing noise was self-sampled from a real severe thunderstorm.

asking when OA3 will be done won't get OA3 done.
Progress of OA3 currently occurs behind closed doors alone

I do not provide technical support either.
