id software does the same with old patches as well so just putting up old versions would just confuse people to get them instead of having them for historical interest.

That's because people like you are encouraging to use old versions instead. This does not do the project any good because no one would make bug reports about the new version.
It would suck if people still played 0.7.1 when 0.9.0 is out etc

shouldn't the incentive be to create a version of the game that is "better" than the popular one currently used? if players and server admins got a better experience from upgrading, i'm sure more would do so. forcing players and servers to upgrade to something they don't want is a strange approach to me, it doesn't seem very friendly to me. (sorry for going off-topic gummi) and as for criticism of the video - i felt there were some scenes that didn't qualify for a frag movie. some where just random kills, frag movies need more killing sprees or trick-shots!  carry on! we want more videos |
