Happy new year everyone!

For the fun of it I made a DVD-box cover for OpenArena.
Tell me what you think.

cheers

What about the mid section for the side part?

The background picture and font of the title isn't good choices though IMO.

Looks really nice, only one remark...would it not look a bit strange when there is no face on the cover when folded as a cover? (the part which is visible when you place it like a book)

You've also left out that it runs on BSD and Solaris

thx for the feedback

@w1zrd: I've already fixed that

@fromhell: any suggestions for font type and background?

@dmn_clown:
I'm not sure if it's useful to include every possible OS on the planet (that's why I left out all linux derivatives), but for the sake of BSD-fans... Wink

it's about the dvd-BOX (= http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keep_case )
sure, you can decide if you use a dvd or cd...
the cover I made suggests the latter Tongue

Actually the technology today is advancing too fast...try making a video in a program such as Adobe Encore, then you don't have the possibility to burn it to a standard CD-ROM disc, the only options are DVD's or BluRay Sad

Borrow the text from the OA titlescreen. Also the darker area should extend around the explanation text. Also, I think the screenshot used is a little too, well, um red, maybe something more easy on the eyes? Idk. But yeah, this is just my opinions...

Is there a source xcf (or whatever) I might take a peek at?
