LIST UPDATED From all those demos, zuma claims 4 records  I'm going to have to practice more before I hope to break any of those times...  The battle for the WRACKDM17 record is very entertaining. About 7 of those demo times were lower than the times you wrote in your posts. I use /timescale 0.2 towards the end of the demo to check the time on the clock when the message appears on the screen. EDIT: You can start a game using these parameters:
openarena +map wrackdm17 +addbot Sergei 2 +addbot Angelyss 2 +addbot Skelebot 2 +set fraglimit 50 +set cl_autoRecordDemo 1 +set bot_nochat 1
bot_nochat 1 is optional I guess. The default is 0, and this makes it easier to obtain frags when the bots suddenly stop to talk as you're frying them with the lightning gun. |

Not sure why, I know the q3 engine sometimes makes demo files randomly big, but I did one attempt before that one and size of the demo was similar to the one I uploaded :/.

Looks like you're shooting fish in a barrel there.... Looked like lots of room for improvement too, you might have shaved 20-30 seconds off of that if you hadn't made a few mistakes. |

Maybe because you set sv_fps 125. That improves the feel of enemies and game looks steady ( less jerky), but introduces changed physics and huge demo size. Well, thats what i have read. Anyway- to ged rid of that run a server on your machine and connect with client to it (server must have sv_fps 20-40).
