As BFG is a trademarked name (I think?), should the BFG10k be renamed to something?
The BFG9000 was renamed to "SKAG 1337" (Super Kick-Ass Gun leet) in Freedoom.

I was thinking SKAG II actually back in 05, but I didn't think it was time to rename guns back then

For now we could refer it to a "Bloody Fast Gun" Tongue

One beef with the existing BFG: It doesn't fire a big enough shot, nor has a big enough explosion.

I'll like to see continuity, SKAG is a good name, but I dont know if "SKAG 2" does make sense with "SKAG 1337" as the previous model.

SKAG 5k1||3d  (SkillEd) ? (SKAG 5k for short Tongue)
5K4G ?
just SKAG NG ?

I actually never liked the BFG in quake 3 cause I think it's way to powerful, quake 4's which was very much like the doom classic or quake 2 BFG was far better balanced.

you do realize that last part translates to teet right?

I do like the acronym though. could go with AMBS 9419(pain....i know, bit hard to 'see' but its there, just have to be a bitliberal with the translation since I wanted to leave it to pure numbers).

AEM - Advanced Enemy Melter
HEG - High Entropy Gun
MHG - Multiple-Homicide Gun
DEUS - DEmaterialising Ultra-Shooter (Also 'god' in Latin)
EDAX - Doesnt stand for anything, but I like the sound and also 'edax' means 'greedy' or 'devastating' in Latin.

Nah. I think the BFG should be called TINY
No idea what the acronym would stand for.
I just like the way it looks. And I like the humor in the irony of a big-ass gun being called tiny.

Yeah, like Tiny from Crash Cheesy That's a great idea Caldiar, I like it Smiley Otherwise it'd sound just like a cheap rip off. Then again, I haven't seen the other names haha.
