how does lag effect a lightning gun? cuz i keep having this happen to me where my oppenent can kill me much quicker then i can with a lightning gun. and i tested this ok. i was at full health and had the armor (map is oa_sago btw) and my oppenent was just hit with a rocket. we both started shooting at the same time. I had the shaft on him the whole time. there was a period where i got to the side of him and he started missing me. HE KILLED ME!!! and this kept happening. finally i just started rocketing him to death. i have cg_truelightning 1 on but i was wondering if lag on one of our parts is what is making this clear imbalance happen?

in hindsight i think the guy was cheating. i played with him again and specing him showed that he was at the very least using aimbot. please forget this post Sad sry for wasting ppl's time

well it was making me mad cuz i knew i was better then him and i couldnt figureout how he could kill me AFTER taking a rocket to the face and i had just gotten armor. it was annoying and stupid! but it made me practice vs a bot with g_elimination 1 and elimination_lightning 999. so im alot better with lightning now  Wink Woe is aimboters!!!
