The patch was compiled for Linux & Windows, but breaks the OS X version when I copy over the files.

I play the game on all three platforms, and it's kind of annoying going back and forth on versions. Also, I'm getting quite a few people to download the game, could we get a copy where the patch has been applied? It's a little confusing for some people.

It's the full 0.8.5 release.

And Sago said that the 0.8.1 binary should work as well under 0.8.5.
